Satellite TV Signals Available

Simmons College offers DirecTV signals in many classrooms and event spaces. DirecTV is a satellite television service made available to faculty or staff for educational purposes. If there is a program or series scheduled on any of the DirecTV channels listed below, faculty or staff may request to have that program or series shown in real time in their classroom via the Media Retrieval System or "MRS."

Simmons College also offers Tivo television recording. Shows may be recorded and rebroadcast as part of academic curriculum. Strict copyright laws apply. Please contact Media Services at 617-521-2765 for further details.

All requests for DirecTV programming should be made at least three days prior to the expected viewing date. Requests may be made online using the appropriate Media Equipment Request form.

If you would like viewing access to a channel not listed here please include a note to that effect in your online request, and submit your booking no later than two weeks prior to the expected viewing date. Media Services cannot guarantee that arrangements will be made: decisions are made based on availability and cost.
