The Simmons College Copyright Scenarios are provided to help faculty better understand how to make fairuse determinations. To the left is a list of copyright scenarios that illustrate the use of various materials in teaching. It is important to understand that how you use these materials may also make a difference in the determination of fairuse. We have provided scenarios for classroom: face to face teaching and online teaching with restricted (eLearning) or unrestricted access (open access). We hope you will find these scenarios useful.
