  The Help Desk supports all Simmons computers. Technology staff in the Information Commons can assist you with problems with any computers in the Library, and help you learn how to use many features of the software installed on Information Commons computers. Technology staff are also available in the SOM lab. Some departments maintain their own labs and so provide their own first-tier support for those computers: GSLIS, Physics, Biology, Psychology, Nursing, SSW.

  Simmons College is using WebCT to deliver Web-enhanced courses. WebCT is a computer application that can be used to post a syllabus, lecture notes, and other course materials on the Internet, link directly to online journal articles, serve online quizzes, as well as communicate with students in a real-time chatroom or with a bulletin board.
