Pottruck Technology Resource Center

The PTRC Supports:

» Innovation and excellence in learning, teaching, and scholarship;

» Technology integration across the curriculum;

» Thoughtful assessment for continuous improvement; and

» Collaborative development of resources for learning, as well as web-enhanced and online courses.

The Pottruck Technology Resource Center (PTRC) offers a range of services for faculty, staff, and students, including the following:

  • Grants and fellowships for faculty and staff;
  • Resources, including models and information about promising practices in educational technology;
  • Consultation with specialists to help you flesh out ideas, make informed decisions, develop interactive course materials, and develop assessment strategies;
  • Training for faculty, staff, and students (including customized workshops designed to meet the needs of your department); and
  • Professional development in the form of conferences, workshops, and special events.

In collaboration with departments, we also help students achieve fluency with information technology so that they can excel in future professional and academic ventures.

The PTRC is funded by a generous gift from Emily Scott Pottruck '78 and David Pottruck. Through their generosity, many faculty, staff, and students have benefited from technology training, instructional design support, mini-grant funding, and special events since 1999.

The PTRC welcomes additional funders. If you are interested in contributing to the Center, please send an email message to Braddlee. For more information or to request a consultation, please call 617-521-2736 or contact:
