Grants/Fellowships

Two types of internal grants are available for faculty:

  • Curriculum Technology Support Grants (up to five grants awarded, several proposal deadlines each year) fund projects up to $2,500.
  • Pottruck Technology Fellowships (up to two grants awarded, proposals are due October 1 each year) fund projects up to $12,000.

Faculty seeking external grant funding may also want to contact the Office of Sponsored Programs at Simmons (617-521-2411). The Office of Sponsored Programs assists faculty in identifying funding opportunities available through external grants, foundations, and corporations.

Funding Opportunities for Staff

The purpose of the Staff Technology Support Grant program is to assist individuals or collaborative groups of staff whose technology projects enhance or streamline job productivity at Simmons. Up to five grants are awarded annually, with several proposal deadlines each year. Fulltime Simmons staff members are encouraged to submit proposals for up to $2,500.
