Simmons Computers

Throughout campus you will find computer Express Web Stations and many locations with wired and wireless network access. There are over 450 computers for student use, including computers with software you need to complete your coursework in the Library Information Commons, at the School of Management, and, if you live on the residence campus, in Arnold, Mesick, North, Smith, and Simmons Halls. You can check out wireless laptops for use anywhere in the Library. Five Technology Labs are outfitted with computers for every student, and several graduate schools and undergraduate departments operate their own departmental computer labs for special work related to their disciplines.

All Simmons computers except Express Web Stations can print to nearby printers. You can print 350 pages/semester for free; see Printing Policy and Tips for more information.

Technology maintains all College-owned computers. For assistance with computers and other technology in departmental labs (such as Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science & Information Technology, GSLIS, Math, Physics, and Social Work), please contact the department.
