Date: Thursday May 26
Time: 4:30 to 5:30
Location: Case Room 1
The inaugural Net Impact @ Simmons event, a dinner and discussion around the question “What is CSR and Is It Relevant?” was a success! Good food and fantastic conversation about the meanings, history, and implementation of corporate social responsibility made for an engaging Tuesday evening. The sold-out event attracted 30+ students, faculty, and staff and was opened by Dean Merrill-Sands, who expressed an alignment between Net Impact’s goals and the SOM mission.
The next Net Impact @ Simmons meeting will be on May 26th. This is an important strategy meeting, and the club needs your passion and commitment for socially responsible business practices to make Net Impact @ Simmons a success! All are welcome to join! There will be light refreshments.
If you have any questions, please contact Liz Ballard. If you’d like more information on the national Net Impact organization, please go to www.netimpact.org
