Computer Lab
Attention Students: Next week on Wednesday, July 27 - Thursday, July 28, the computer facilities (lab, laptop room and study rooms) will be moving to their new locations in 411 Comm. Ave. The computer lab and laptop room will close on Tuesday, July 26 at 6pm; however, you may still use the study rooms to work on assignments until we have the new SOM Lab functional on Wednesday afternoon. Although we will do our best to provide technology for you to use at the SOM during the move, you may want to plan ahead and use other Simmons technology resources to complete your assignments.

Please consider using the Library Information Commons computers on the second floor of the Library at the main campus. For their hours of operation, visit their web site at http://my.simmons.edu/libraries/hours.shtml#library. You may also access your Simmons personal file server folders (y: drive) from any computer with an Internet connections by visiting http://remote.simmons.edu/. And the Mockler Express Web Stations will still be available for you to use to check email and go online.

Lab Hours
The lab is open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 11pm, and on Sunday from 7am to 7pm.

Staffed Hours
During summer hours, the lab will be open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 9:30am & 2:30pm to 6:30pm, and on Fridays from 8am to 11am.

If you need assistance and a lab staff member is not available, please call the Helpdesk at x2222.

Reminder: Food, drinks, and cell phones are NOT allowed in the computer lab, sorry. This rule will be enforced by the lab staff.
