Jill Kickul has been invited to the Stockholm School of Economics on Tuesday, September 6th to present her latest research on “Modeling the Complexities and Interactions of Cognitive Style, Culture, Gender, Social Norms, and Intensity on the Pathway to Entrepreneurship” (additional information in the CGO Working Paper #20). She has also been invited to Jönköping International Business School (Thursday, September 8th) on the same line of research and will also be guest lecturing on the topic of “Opportunity Recognition and Pedagogical Techniques and Tools for the Entrepreneurship Classroom”.
Following both visits, Jill will then be traveling to Bodø Graduate School of Business and the Nordland Research Institute (Norway) for a PhD-seminar: “New Perspectives on Entrepreneurship.” She will be one of the lead faculty members in a seminar that is designed to provide PhD students with opportunities to become familiar with different aspects of entrepreneurship research and to discuss this in relation with their own research projects. Jill will also be presenting some of her latest research, “Context for the Legitimacy of Women Entrepreneurs: The Role of Expert Capital” (additional information in the CGO Working Paper #19).
