SOM FALL CAREER EXPO INDUSTRY LUNCHEON
The CSO will invite professionals in varying functions from selected industries who will engage in informal discussions to share personal insights to help students look at opportunities (functional areas) and organizations (industry sectors) with a broader view and discuss the current hiring climate of their industry. This is a relationship building event and information sharing venue for senor level industry representatives and students.

On November 4th & 5th, 2005, the National Association of Women MBAs will host its annual Conference at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The conference will bring together more than 600 members of NAWMBA with business leaders to discover what it can mean when you bring an entrepreneurial spirit into your work life.
The conference begins Friday, November 4th with a career fair from 10am to 5pm. Registration begins at 10am on Friday and continues until lunchtime Saturday. Jill Kickul and her co-authors had their paper published in one of the top management journals of the Academy of Management. Their paper, “Does Service Learning Add Value? Examining the Perspectives of Multiple Stakeholders” appears in the most recent issue of the Academy of Management Learning & Education Journal. Her co-authors include Scott Lester, Chuck Tomkovick, Theresa Wells, and Lanette Flunker, all from the University of Wisconsin.
Also, the latest Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research has published Kickul’s paper with Norris Krueger (Boise State University), “A Cognitive Processing Model of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy and Intentionality.” Finally, a summary of “Are Misalignments of Perceptions and Self-Efficacy Causing Gender Gaps in Entrepreneurial Intentions Among our Nations’ Teens” (Fiona Wilson and Deborah Marlino) also appears in Frontiers.
