INFORMATION COMMONS

New Printing Rules
Students, Staff and Faculty are now charged to print. Everyone gets 400 free prints to start at the beginning of each semester. Click the following link for more details: http://my.simmons.edu/services/technology/labs/printing.shtml

Hours
The lab is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00am to 11:00pm, and on Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

*If you can get into the building, you can use the computers.

Staffed Hours
Monday though Thursday, 8:00-9:30am and 11:30am-6:30pm; Friday, 8:00-9:30am

If you need assistance and a lab staff member is not available, please call the Helpdesk at x2222.

**Please note you cannot save files to the desktop on the IC and study room computers. Please use your network drives or portable media like a floppy disk or USB flash.

MEDIA SERVICES

Class Tapes
The class tapes will be available in the copy room next to the student lounge, starting next week. It is a self service system. We have the master tapes on file that you can use to make copies for yourself using our high speed tape duplicator. We have free black, used tapes available for your use. Instructions will be posted. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Bill at x3852.
