INVITATION TO GROWTH STRATEGIES CLASSES
Current SOM students are invited to join Jill Kickul, Entrepreneurship Certificate Program students, and area entrepreneurs during growth strategies classes on Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th. These classes will be highly interactive and use the live case method of instruction. Students are welcome to join for individual sessions or for several (schedule is listed below). This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Entrepreneurship Certificate Program and meet some of the certificate students!

Enjoy a light lunch, hear the latest entrepreneurship news, meet Julie and the current entrepreneurship certificate program stars. This is a great opportunity to learn more the Simmons Eship program and ask certificate students questions about their experiences. All SOM students are welcome to attend!

Everyone is very busy with exams, papers and other deliverables. Amidst the academic chaos, please keep in mind that the Simmons Entrepreneur-in-Residence is a potential resource for all students. Consider making an appointment with her when life slows down again!

What is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence?
An Entrepreneur-in-Residence is a successful business leader who helps bridge the gap between your coursework and real world applications. She will share her valuable knowledge and experience, while offering advice and suggestions.

Who is the Simmons Entrepreneur-in-Residence?
We are lucky to have Ms. Julie LeMoine as our Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the 2005-06 academic year. Julie is the President and CEO, U C How Technologies, Inc. An impressive leader in technology and business, her career includes 20 years of designing Internet and Security products and services for Intelligence Agencies, NSA, and Fortune100 companies. In 2004 Julie was named one of the Top 10 Women to Watch in Technology and Science in New England.

How Do I Meet Julie LeMoine?
Julie will participate in Entrepreneurship Certificate Program events throughout the academic year, including the Study Break on December 9th advertised above. Julie is also happy to meet with students individually – aspiring entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs alike – to discuss her experience and your ideas.
