Partners HealthCare’s Mary Finlay is First CIO Executive to Chair the Council

BOSTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—The Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. has announced that Partners HealthCare Deputy Chief Information Officer Mary Finlay is the Council’s new Chairwoman. She is the first CIO executive to serve in this capacity at the organization.

“Mary’s chairmanship exemplifies the new kind of partnership and dialogue that exists between CEOs and CIOs,” said Joyce Plotkin, president, the Mass Technology Leadership Council. “Additionally, it highlights the common themes of technology innovation and workforce development shared by both sets of executives. We are delighted to have the technology user and buyer perspective represented in the leadership of the organization.”

As Chairwoman, Finlay will oversee the Council’s 43-member Board of Trustees, which sets the overall direction and provides oversight of the finances and management of the organization’s 500 members.
