Financial Aid News for the 2008-2009 Academic Year

It’s time to re-apply for financial aid for the 2008-09 academic year! The summer term is the beginning of a new year for financial aid, and graduate student awards are already being mailed out.

If you would like to apply for aid for the summer, or for the full 2008-09 academic year, please complete a couple of simple forms: 1.) The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)—use Simmons’ school code 002208 2.) The Graduate Supplemental Information Form

You do not need to wait until you file tax returns to complete the FAFSA, in fact, you shouldn’t wait until you file taxes! Your FAFSA can be filed with estimated tax information and can be updated at a later date. This will help to ensure that you are allowing enough time for your application to be reviewed and awarded.

If you have questions about the application process, please contact your assigned financial aid officer. Students are assigned a financial aid officer based on the first letter of their last name.
