Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2008, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Simmons College, 300 the Fenway, Boston MA Advancement Hall, 4th Floor of the Beatley Library Building
The Office of Development and Alumnae Relations (ODAR) would like to thank Heather Lantz for her service and leadership as a volunteer for the SOM Spring Phonathon Part I. Together with SOM alumnae and staff, Heather raised much needed support on behalf of the Simmons Fund for the SOM. Thank you Heather!
ODAR is currently seeking volunteers for Part II of our Spring Phonathon on the evenings of Tuesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 3. Phonathons are an important component of achieving our fundraising goals, and also provide a great opportunity for students to meet and interact with SOM alumnae who also volunteer for the phonathon. We begin each night with training, so even if you have never volunteered before, you will be comfortable on the phone. In fact, our Phonathons are a wonderful opportunity for you to sharpen your fundraising and networking skills, which are useful in any field. Please join us to help the SOM reach its goals for 2008. This year’s priorities include: strengthening Institutional Growth and Stature, expanding our Global Presence, integrating Innovative Teaching through Technology and adding electives focused on Corporate Social Responsibility. We will provide parking, delicious refreshments, and good spirit to our volunteer callers. Check your calendars and contact Abbie Mohlin at 617.521.3825 or abigail.mohlin@simmons.edu to volunteer.
