The Emerging Markets Development Advisers Program (EMDAP) is sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Institute of International Education (IIE). Through EMDAP, MBA/Masters students and recent graduates interested in international development and finance spend 10-12 months working as business advisers in emerging market economies around the world. Visit emdap.org for more details. May 9th is the deadline to apply. U.S. citizenship is required for applicants, however, for this recruiting cycle exceptions can be made for Jordanian or Indonesian students which are the two primary assignments for the fall 2008 advisor cycle. Other geographic placements are anticipated for winter 2009.
