Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Vietnam,
Bulgaria, Morocco, Panama, South Africa, Spain, Venezuela, Jamaica, Haiti,
Finland, Guyana, Iran, Israel, Mexico, Ireland, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya,
Columbia, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, South Korea, and Japan. If
you do not see your country of origin or affiliation in the above list and you
would like to add it to the collection, please email Carolyn at
carolyn.bogle@simmons.edu by Friday, October 5th. Please
join us on Thursday, October 4, from 3:15-5:45 for a little wine, a little cheese,
and lots of good company. Stop by the Oval Dining Room (near the MBA Office)
after class or before class to hang out with your classmates and meet people
from other tracks. Non-alcoholic beverages and other snacks will be
available, too. This
event is sponsored by the Simmons Social Club. For more info or to be part of

requested MBTA bus passes for October 2007, they are available and ready for
pickup at the MBA Office. Come by the MBA Office and ask Paola and she will
give you your bus pass.

The Silverman Business Plan
Competition, generously funded by a gift from Lois Silverman and support from
the class of 2002, brings together Simmons School of Management alumnae,
faculty, and the entrepreneurial community to celebrate and encourage
aspiring female entrepreneurs. On this day a group of three finalists present
their plans for new business concepts to a panel of established entrepreneurs
who will award $10,000 in prize. This event is followed by a followed by an
address by Lois Silverman and a reception for all guests from 6:00 –
7:30 p.m. The Silverman Business Plan Competition winners will be announced
during the reception.
