The mission of the Simmons School of Management is to educate women for power and principled leadership. MBA Office Updates It is hard to believe that next week starts week 3 of the summer term! All the China students return this weekend and will be back next week. From all I have heard, they had a terrific time! Congrats to SOM Staff Finishing Their Degrees Congrats to Darla Pires-DeGrace in the Program/Admissions/Marketing office and Nicole Herrick, who started our MBA program in January for completing their Masters in Communications Management last week! We are happy to print new namecards for anyone that has lost their original one!! Just email Katlyn at Katlyn.cavanaugh@simmons.edu and we will take care of it. We decided printing them for everyone didn’t make sense because most of you still have your original ones! QA has class on Saturday, May 30 LGA starts on Monday, June 1 Strategy starts on Tuesday, June 2 IT starts on Wednesday, June 3 CSR first class is Sunday, June 7, 5-7pm Managing High Growth, all weekend, June 5-7 Advanced Warning about Study Rooms for SDM Part of the strategy class involves a simulation with students in groups. June 19-21, the simulation is running all weekend and they will using all the study rooms around the building and those rooms have all be reserved for them. It may be a weekend to study in the library or at home. SOMAA Annual Meeting: Visioning the Next Chapter SOM Executive Education Conference Room The School of Management Alumnae Association welcomes 2009 graduates to our Annual Meeting on June 18. In keeping with the Alumnae Association's mission to foster Alumnae engagement and the School's desire to involve Alumnae in envisioning the SOM’s next chapter, we invite you to join the SOMAA and Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands for an interactive session to help create our future story. This year’s Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to engage with alumnae in an exciting and creative way to influence our destiny and help us understand how we, the School and the Alumnae Association, can better serve our alumnae.
