Note from Mary D.

Next week marks week 10 of the Summer term and it seems like motivation levels are a tiny bit better this week, as some classes begin to wrap up. FSA, Strategic Performance Measures, LGA, Consulting, and Public Speaking all are done or will be done by the end of this weekend. In the next two weeks, QA ends and Entrepreneurship and Investments are in their business plan and stock tracking segments which means they are working but not in class every week. My point is that for many of you, the workload will take a major shift and you should feel some change by the 4th of July. For those of you in BGGE, the shift you will see is with the country analysis and your presentations coming up at the end of the summer, that will also require some schedule adjustments, flexibility and attention to task, detail and group process as the presentations get closer. Keep up the good work!!

New Goal for Human Resources: Establishing a Work Force of One

When it comes to human resources, one size no longer fits all.

For years, companies used standardized human-resources plans for recruiting and managing workers.
