*Additional
Health Insurance is available for an extended period of time for graduating
students on the Simmons insurance. Application forms are available in the MBA
office. According to the insurance company, students should contact them
directly to ask for an extension, get the form, and then return it with
payment of the premium. Students should call University Health Plans before
the termination of this year's plan at 617-472-5324 or 800-437-6448. *The
price of extra tickets for the Dean’s Reception is $70, not $75 as
mentioned in the graduation meetings. *Dean’s
Reception invitations are available for pick up in the MBA Office. *If
you ordered announcements they are in, please come by and pick yours up.
Donna
Dolan, the college Registrar, is looking for an MBA student to do some
project work during the summer. Work expectations are 15-20 hours a week,
project duration to be not longer than the summer. Skills needed: ability to
work independently, excel, data analysis and strong writing. Call Donna if
you are interested at 521.2101 and tell her you are responding to the posting
in the MBA update this week.

Attention Class of 2007 - New Alumnae Reception Tuesday, July 31st 4:30-6:00pm Green Room You are invited to the SOM
Alumnae Association's annual New Alumnae Reception. This event, sponsored by
the Simmons SOMAA, marks a wonderful tradition of welcoming the new class of
MBA graduates to the distinguished ranks of Simmons SOM alumnae. Join Alumnae Association board
members, and student representatives Geetha Krishnamurthy '07 and Mandy
Osborne '07, along with faculty and staff, as we toast the class of 2007.

Businesses Their Way Karla Lightfoot, 40, a yoga instructor who injured her knee and couldn’t teach anymore had been thinking about what she was going to do next. She went to hear the maternity designer Liz Lange speak at an event sponsored by Ladies Who Launch, which helps women start and expand businesses. about some of the many wonderful resources we offer. These informal workshops/demonstrations

Library is offering tutorials on using the Bloomberg terminal. These 1-hour
individual sessions are designed to help you get started with using the
different menu options in this powerful real-time financial and news
