The Parker Hill/Fenway Emergency Food Pantry, part of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), serves more than 300 households in Boston and the surrounding area each month — an ominous reflection of the difficulty that low-income and working families face in meeting basic needs.
Simmons staff will once again sponsor a silent auction to raise monies that will provide immediate food supplies to low income households in the area. Through the generosity of donors and bidders such as yourself, we have raised over $100,000 for the emergency food pantry's food supply and operation.
Help us make a difference in the community by donating new or like-new items, or other items reflecting your time or talent! Do you knit or make baked goods? Are you a regular at a restaurant and can ask the manager to donate a gift certificate? Would your department like to donate a basket of goodies you've put together yourselves?
