Windows Vista: Install & Configure Sophos Anti-Virus

Thank you for agreeing to the Terms of Use.

Now that you do not have any antivirus software on your computer, it's time to install Sophos Antivirus.

Download & Install Software

1. Click here to download Sophos
   You will be asked to authenticate; use your Simmons username and the same password you use with your email account.
   You will see a window that asks you if you want to Run, Save, Cancel, or see More Info about the file. Click Run.
   
   
2. After the installer downloads you will see another window notifying you that the publisher could not be verified and asks if you would like to run the program.
   Click Run.

   

3. If you have User Account Control enabled, you may also see another warning message asking if you would like to allow the operation. Select Allow.
   
4. The Sophos Anti-Virus installer now opens. Click Next.
   
5. Click Next.

   

6. Click Install.

   

7. Click Finish.

   

8. Click Close.
