Checking out Equipment at the SOM

Technology at Simmons College makes available a small amount of equipment for SOM students, faculty, and staff to borrow on-site at the SOM. For checkout at the SOM we have:

• Digital still camera
• Digital and tape recorders
• Mini DV recorders

To borrow one of these items, simply ask anyone working in the Computer Lab on the first floor of 411 Commonwealth Avenue. These pieces of equipment are available first come, first served. The Technology fine policy applies to all loans, no matter where you check out equipment. The loan period for equipment housed at the SOM is 7 days, and all items are due by 3:00 pm. 

In addition to the equipment available at the SOM, there is a wide range of audio, video, and photography equipment available for you to borrow from Media Services on the main campus in P108. See Borrowing Equipment on the Technology Media Services web site.
