Training

The Pottruck Technology Resource Center offers a wide range of technology training workshops for staff, faculty, and students. Check your mailbox for our training catalogues, which are published three times a year.

Customized Training

We also work with faculty to develop customized training. If your course involves a technology-enhanced learning activity, the PTRC can provide customized training to ensure that students have the requisite technical skills. Call 617-521-2736 or write to training@simmons.edu for more information.

Booking the Training Lab

If you are a faculty member or a staff supervisor who needs to conduct training in the lab for your classes, use our online PTRC Lab Reservation form.

Online Software Training

If you are comfortable using a self-paced, web-based environment to learn software applications for a class or project, you may request a virtual seat in our Element K training system. Use our online form to register for online training.
